Judy Melamed, DDS
Dr. Judy Melamed Was born in Lithuania, moving to the suburbs of Baltimore at a young age. She graduated Franklin High School with honors and moved on to study Biology at the University of Maryland. While there, she explored her interest in infectious diseases working on an NIH sponsored research grant. Studying the Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus and Human Immunodeficiency Virus.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Dr. Melamed attended University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005, and started her graduate training in endodontics that same year.
During her time in postgraduate training, Dr. Melamed spent time studying the effects of inflammation on neuron receptor plasticity in the dental pulp. In 2007 she received her Certificate in Postgraduate Endodontics and joined Endodontic Partners of Baltimore.
Since, she has been voted “Baltimore’s Best” Endodontist by a panel of local dentists a number of times. She continues to practice full time, splitting her time between the Bel Air and Lutherville offices.
