These are some of the more complex endodontic cases we see here at Endodontic Partners. Experience, technology and training play a heavy role in diagnosis and successful treatment.

Tooth # 5 Patient had pain to hot and cold. Using the latest FireWire rotary files we were able to negotiate a 90 degree curve in one of the canals to allow thorough cleaning of the root canal space and enhance success.

Tooth #18 This is a case of severe root curvature where the canals were not only curved but also narrow. We were able to clean and fill the canals to length with the help of NiTi rotatory instruments.

Tooth #15 This is a molar with severe curvature of one of its roots. Flexible Nickel Titanium files were used to negotiate the curve & instrument all the canals.

Tooth #20 This premolar has an unusual root configuration. Having two roots rather than one. It is very important to treat both canals to achieve proper healing.

Tooth #18 The patient presented to our clinic after her referring dentist had a pulpal exposure. Using heat-treated rotary files the sharp curvature in the distal root was negotiated and instrumented to a large enough size to properly clean the canal. The patient was asymptomatic at follow-up.

Tooth #28 This premolars has one root which contains one canal that splits into two separate canals midroot.

Patient presented with significant pain in the LR. After our clinical exam we determined #18 was necrotic due to a crack in the tooth. The Root canal therapy was completed in 2 appointments and the patients pain was resolved in-between appointments. The patient was referred back to her dentist for the permanent restoration and crown.

The patient had a filling done recently on tooth #3, and started to have pain shortly thereafter. He presented to our office for root canal treatment. All roots were quite long, but most interestingly, one of the roots had a really severe curve that I was able to clean, shape, and fill to the very end.
